Noida is India's electronics manufacturing capital, with large mobile-handset assembly plants in Sector 81, an appliance and display cluster around Greater Noida, semiconductor and contract-manufacturing units feeding the consumer-electronics majors, and a long tail of component suppliers across the UPSIDC sectors. Every one of those units puts finished goods into wooden cases, slip-sheets onto pallets, or loads CKD kits into export containers floored with packing-grade ply.</p><p>Plywood demand in Noida isn't one market, it's at least four overlapping ones, each with its own grade preference and crate geometry. Knowing which sector a buyer sits in tells us almost immediately what they need.</p><h3>The electronics export cluster</h3><p>Sector 81, the IT and electronics offices in Sector 62, the Surajpur Industrial Area in Greater Noida, and the YEIDA notified zones near Jewar all push out mobile phones, smart TVs, set-top boxes, washing machines and components. Mobile CKD packs leave in stackable plywood boxes built from 9mm or 12mm commercial ply with hardwood runners. Larger appliance exporters need 18mm shuttering or BWR sheets cut to international pallet footprints.</p><h3>The auto-component belt at Sector 63-69</h3><p>The Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) and the Sector 63-67 industrial blocks house tier-2 and tier-3 auto suppliers feeding the passenger-vehicle and two-wheeler plants across the wider NCR. Castings, gears, sheet-metal assemblies — every one of these ships in cleated plywood crates built to ISPM-15 for export consignments to Europe and North America.</p><h3>Engineering, defence and instrumentation</h3><p>Sectors 1 through 16, along with parts of Sahibabad across the Hindon, host heavy-engineering and instrumentation units. These buyers source 18mm and 25mm packing ply for one-off transit crates and skids around lathes, transformers and DG sets.</p><h3>Logistics, 3PL and warehousing</h3><p>The Dadri Multi-Modal Logistics Hub on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, plus the bonded warehouses in the area, run on standardised 1200x1000mm and 1100x1100mm wooden pallets. That is a recurring, predictable plywood-top-deck order for any packing-case maker who lands those contracts.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">What we manufacture into the Noida lane</h2><p>We run a single product philosophy: bulk packing material, manufactured to specification, cut to the sizes your line actually consumes. The range we move into Noida breaks down as follows.</p><h3>Packing-grade plywood (MR-Packing)</h3><p>Commercial / rubberwood plywood in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 18mm thicknesses. Standard 8x4 ft sheets, also available in 7x4 and 6x4. This is the workhorse for inland and short-export crates, phenol-bonded to survive monsoon transit and priced for volume. For Noida electronics packers, 9mm and 12mm move the fastest.</p><h3>Okoume-faced plywood</h3><p>Where the buyer needs a cleaner export face — pharma machinery, premium electronics, defence — we offer an Okoume veneer over the same packing core. Okoume is a face-veneer option, not a separate grade: it is the same MR-Packing or BWR construction with an Okoume face instead of the standard hardwood face. Useful when the consignee in Europe or the Gulf inspects crate aesthetics.</p><h3>Shuttering plywood</h3><p>16mm and 18mm film-faced or plain shuttering ply for the construction sites still active across YEIDA, the Noida International Airport zone at Jewar and the perimeter infrastructure projects. Same Kochi origin, same manufacturing discipline.</p><h3>Hardwood runners and sawn sections</h3><p>Jackwood at ₹400/cft (¼-inch minus tolerance) and rubberwood runners cut to the sizes your jig demands. Most Noida packing-case makers buy a sheet-plus-runner combo from us, which cuts their inward GST friction and consolidates freight.</p><h3>Container flooring and pallet decks</h3><p>For 20ft and 40ft container retrofits and for pallet manufacturers selling into the Dadri 3PL clusters, we cut 18-25mm panels to standard footprints (1200x1000, 1200x800, 1100x1100, 1219x1016 GMA).</p><table><thead><tr><th>Grade</th><th>Thickness range</th><th>Typical Noida use</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>MR-Packing commercial</td><td>6–18mm</td><td>Inland &amp; short-export crates, CKD boxes</td></tr><tr><td>BWR / Okoume-faced</td><td>12–18mm</td><td>Premium-face export crates, sea-freight loads</td></tr><tr><td>Shuttering ply</td><td>16–18mm</td><td>YEIDA &amp; airport-zone construction</td></tr><tr><td>Hardwood runners</td><td>As per jig</td><td>Cleats, bearers, ISPM-15 heat-treated</td></tr><tr><td>Container / pallet deck</td><td>18–25mm</td><td>Container flooring, 3PL pallet top-decks</td></tr></tbody></table></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Kochi to Noida — the logistics reality</h2><p>The lane is roughly 2,400 km by road. Cochin Port to Noida via NH-44 / NH-48, the typical truck gets in at day 5-6 on a single-driver run, day 4 on a relay. We ship in 20ft and 32ft full-truck loads ex-factory Perumbavoor; GST and freight are extra of the sheet rate.</p><table><thead><tr><th>Lane element</th><th>Detail</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Origin</td><td>Perumbavoor, Ernakulam (Kerala)</td></tr><tr><td>Destination</td><td>Noida / Greater Noida / Dadri</td></tr><tr><td>Distance</td><td>~2,400 km road</td></tr><tr><td>Transit</td><td>5-7 days FTL</td></tr><tr><td>Mode</td><td>Road FTL preferred; rail rake on volume</td></tr><tr><td>Per-truck capacity</td><td>~22-24 MT or ~600-700 sheets of 12mm</td></tr><tr><td>Detention buffer</td><td>2 days at unloading; we plan for it</td></tr></tbody></table><p>For repeat buyers placing monthly orders, we hold inward stock-rotation discipline so you can pull two trucks a month on a steady cadence rather than scrambling spot. For exporters on a tighter clock, we can pre-cut to your CAD-marked sizes at the Perumbavoor end and load directly to your strapping line.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Which grade for which Noida load — decision rules</h2><p>A simple operator's heuristic for Noida buyers choosing between our main grades:</p><ul><li><strong>Domestic transit, inland consignee, short shelf-life crate</strong> — MR-Packing commercial ply, 9mm or 12mm. We can supply heat-treated jackwood and rubberwood runners pre-stamped by an authorised agency, so your finished crate ships without customs friction.</p><h3>Minimum order quantity for the Noida lane?</h3><p>For a viable single-trip FTL, the practical minimum is roughly one full truck, about 600-700 sheets of 12mm or equivalent mix. For smaller volumes we can consolidate with another Noida-bound load if timing aligns; ask when you enquire.</p><h3>Can you cut sheets to a specific size before dispatch?</h3><p>Yes. Our standard cuts are 8x4, 7x4 and 6x4 ft. We also do CAD-marked cuts in-house for repeat orders, which saves you the cutting waste and the dust at your end. Send us your cut-list with the enquiry.</p></div>

Two-wheeler and four-wheeler plants, a tractor assembly line, Tier-1 component suppliers, hyperscale data-centre builds and the Yamuna Expressway corridor pushing toward the new international airport all generate cargo that must be crated, palletised and dunnaged in wood before it leaves the gate. The packing demand here is not one cluster but at least four overlapping ones, and the plywood spec changes with each.</p><h3>Auto and auto-component cluster</h3><p>The Surajpur–Kasna belt — Sectors Ecotech-I through XII, Site-V and the UPSIDC industrial area — is the heaviest user. Two-wheeler CKD kits bound for Latin America and Africa, four-wheeler sub-assemblies, tractor PTO housings and Tier-1 stamping and forging deliveries all move in plywood cases. The two-wheeler CKD lane and the tractor export lane out of Greater Noida are particularly steady.</p><h3>Data centres and IT hardware</h3><p>The Knowledge Park belt (II, III, V) and the Tech Zone IV cluster around Pari Chowk now host hyperscale and colocation builds. Rack delivery, UPS and chiller crating and switchgear protection during fit-out drive a specific demand: fewer crates, but heavier units, often single-piece loads above one tonne where the plywood case is structural rather than a wrap.</p><h3>Film City and engineered goods</h3><p>The upcoming Film City off the Yamuna Expressway, plus existing engineered-goods makers (pumps, valves and transformers in YEIDA Sectors 28 and 29), generate a steady packing-case requirement that is sensitive to price but, being mostly domestic, less driven by export treatment certification.</p><h3>The new international airport at Jewar</h3><p>As the Noida International Airport at Jewar ramps up, air-freight-grade crates — lighter, dimensionally tight, often 12 mm plywood on a softwood frame — will become a growing segment. We are already quoting against that brief for forwarders setting up around Sector 32 and the Multi-Modal Cargo Hub.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Four product families, built to Greater Noida demand</h2><p>We manufacture four product families against Greater Noida demand, all produced to CWI specifications at our facilities in the Perumbavoor cluster.</p><h3>Packing-grade plywood (sheet form)</h3><p>This is the workhorse. We ship 8x4 ft sheets in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 18 mm thicknesses, hardwood face with rubberwood or commercial hardwood core, MR or BWR glue line depending on the buyer's QC. Selling rates run from ₹24/sq.ft for 6 mm up to ₹42/sq.ft for 18 mm, ex-factory Perumbavoor, GST and freight extra. For buyers ordering by the truckload we load full 32-ft single-axle trucks (about 25 tonnes) so the per-sheet inbound freight is at its lowest.</p><table><thead><tr><th>Thickness</th><th>Selling rate (₹/sq.ft, ex-factory)</th><th>Typical use</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>6 mm</td><td>24</td><td>Light cases, panel facing, dunnage</td></tr><tr><td>8 mm</td><td>28</td><td>Small component cases</td></tr><tr><td>10 mm</td><td>31.5</td><td>General CKD and box sides</td></tr><tr><td>12 mm</td><td>33.5</td><td>Air-freight crates, mid-weight cases</td></tr><tr><td>14 mm</td><td>36</td><td>Heavier component and machinery cases</td></tr><tr><td>15 mm</td><td>39</td><td>Structural case panels</td></tr><tr><td>16 mm</td><td>39.5</td><td>Heavy-duty crating</td></tr><tr><td>18 mm</td><td>42</td><td>Container flooring, one-tonne-plus loads</td></tr></tbody></table><p>GST and transport extra; all rates ex-factory Perumbavoor.</p><h3>Built-up crates and packing cases</h3><p>For buyers who do not want to run their own case-making line, we manufacture finished cases — nailed or bolted, with skid bases, runner-and-batten sides and lid construction to the buyer's drawing. Jackwood runners at ₹400/cft are standard for the heavier auto and machinery crates; rubberwood runners on lighter cases.</p><h3>Wooden pallets</h3><p>Two-way and four-way entry pallets in 1200x800, 1200x1000 and 1100x1100 mm footprints, in standard-duty and heavy-duty load classes. For data-centre rack movement we typically build a 1200x1000 four-way pallet with a 38–50 mm top deck, strong enough for a 1,200 kg single load with the forklift entry the loading bay actually has.</p><h3>Container flooring and dunnage</h3><p>18 mm BWR plywood for container floor repair and one-trip container conversions, plus 12–18 mm sheets cut to dunnage sizes for in-container blocking and bracing. This is a smaller line, but a useful one for the CHA and freight-forwarder cluster around the ICD at Dadri.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Kochi to Greater Noida — the route that matters</h2><p>The honest question every North Indian buyer asks is why source plywood from Kerala when there are mills in UP. Two answers.</p><p>First, raw-material economics. The Perumbavoor belt is built on rubberwood and locally aggregated hardwoods — short, fast turnover, lower core cost than gurjan-import-dependent mills further north. That gap is usually wider than the freight cost over 2,400 km.</p><p>Second, the route is well-trodden. We dispatch from Perumbavoor (about 30 km from Cochin Port) by road on the standard NH-44 corridor toward Delhi. Transit for a single-axle 32-ft truck is 5–7 days to the Greater Noida industrial belts, and 6–8 days for a heavier 22-wheeler when the buyer prefers fewer, larger drops. For very large monthly volumes we can also offer rail-on-truck out of the Bangalore container terminals, which trims a day off transit but adds handling cost.</p><table><thead><tr><th>Lane detail</th><th>Typical figure</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Origin (load point)</td><td>Perumbavoor, Ernakulam district, Kerala</td></tr><tr><td>Distance to Greater Noida</td><td>~2,400 km road</td></tr><tr><td>Transit time, 32-ft single-axle</td><td>5–7 days</td></tr><tr><td>Transit time, 22-wheeler</td><td>6–8 days</td></tr><tr><td>Truck capacity (sheet form)</td><td>~25 tonnes / ~600–700 sheets of 18 mm</td></tr><tr><td>Delivery sectors served regularly</td><td>Ecotech I–XII, Surajpur, Knowledge Park, Site-V, YEIDA</td></tr><tr><td>Pricing basis</td><td>Ex-factory; GST + freight extra</td></tr></tbody></table><p>On export crates, ISPM-15 heat treatment and IPPC stamping are usually handled at the buyer's premises or by their nominated treatment agency; where needed, we can coordinate ISPM-15 heat-treated softwood runners through our partner mills.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Which spec for which Greater Noida load</h2><p>A quick operator-level guide for buyers choosing a spec.</p><ul><li><strong>Packing-grade rubberwood/commercial MR ply</strong> — for domestic-moving cases, in-plant pallets, dunnage and the bulk of auto-component CKD that does not require ISPM-15 fumigation. Lowest landed cost per sheet.</li><li><strong>Okoume-face packing ply</strong> — Okoume is a face-veneer option on the packing and BWR grades, chosen when the buyer's export customer specifies a clean, light-coloured face (European auto OEMs and some West African importers do). Cosmetically better, marginally more expensive; quoted on request rather than off the standard card.</li><li><strong>BWR plywood</strong> — for container flooring, exposed dunnage and any case that may sit in a port stack through a monsoon. Worth the upcharge when the alternative is field rework.</li><li><strong>Shuttering plywood</strong> — a separate product line we send to data-centre civil contractors and airport civil packages. Different tooling, quoted separately.</li></ul></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">FAQ</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Common questions from Greater Noida buyers</h2><h3>How do you handle ISPM-15 for export crates?</h3><p>We supply the plywood and casework; ISPM-15 fumigation and stamping is typically handled at the buyer's premises or by their nominated treatment agency. Where the buyer needs it, we can coordinate ISPM-15 heat-treated softwood runners through our partner mills.</p><h3>Can you deliver direct to a sector address inside Greater Noida?</h3><p>Yes. We deliver to factory gates across YEIDA, GNIDA and the UPSIDC sectors. For heavy 22-wheelers we confirm the buyer's gate height and turning radius before dispatch — narrow sector roads inside older industrial blocks need a smaller vehicle.</p><h3>What is the minimum order?</h3><p>For sheet supply our economic minimum is one full truck (about 25 tonnes) to keep per-sheet freight rational. For finished crates and pallets we can ship part loads consolidated with sheet stock, which makes sense for buyers in the 50–200 case-per-month range.</p></div>

The sports goods belt around Suraj Kund and Sotiganj alone moves containers of cricket bats, balls and protective gear to the UK, Australia, the Gulf and Africa every month. Add the publishing-machinery cluster around Partapur, the scissors-and-shears trade, and a steady stream of auto-component shipments out of Modipuram, and the city's packing-plywood demand is steady, year-round and surprisingly specific.</p><p>Meerut sits about 70 km north-east of Delhi on NH-58, inside the National Capital Region's manufacturing pull but with its own distinct industrial DNA. A few belts matter for plywood demand:</p><ul><li><strong>Suraj Kund and Sotiganj sports goods cluster</strong> — the historic centre of the Indian cricket-equipment trade. Bats, balls, pads, gloves and protective wear are made here and exported through the ICDs at Tughlakabad, Loni and Garhi Harsaru. Most of this freight ships in wooden crates or on plywood-decked pallets because freight underwriters and overseas buyers ask for it.</li><li><strong>Partapur Industrial Area</strong> — the larger UPSIDC estate on the Delhi road. Printing-and-publishing machinery makers, transformer and electrical component manufacturers, and food-processing units all sit here. Heavy, dense machine consignments need ISPM-15 crates and proper bracing-grade plywood.</li><li><strong>Mohkampur, Udyog Puram and Modipuram</strong> — auto components, agricultural implements and metal fabrication. Pallet-heavy buyers.</li><li><strong>Scissors and shears trade in the old city</strong> — smaller cartons mostly, but bulk export consolidators in this trade still buy plywood-bottom master cases.</li></ul><p>The common thread: most of Meerut's high-value shipments leave the country, and packing failure is not an option. That puts a real floor under the quality of plywood the city's packing-case makers and exporters can use.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Four product families into Meerut</h2><p>We supply four product families into Meerut. The mix on any given truck depends on what is being packed.</p><h3>Packing-grade plywood</h3><p>This is the workhorse. Hardwood-core, phenolic-bonded plywood in 8 ft x 4 ft sheets, available in 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm and 18 mm. For the sports goods exporters, 8 mm and 10 mm are most common — light enough to keep the cubic-metre weight of a cricket-bat container in check, strong enough to survive port handling. For the publishing-machinery and transformer crowd, 12 mm to 18 mm is the right band because the loads are dense and the crate has to take stacking pressure in the container.</p><h3>Knocked-down crate sets</h3><p>For exporters who do not want to run a captive carpentry shop, we ship pre-cut crate components — top, bottom, sides, ends, runners — heat-treated and stencilled ISPM-15 where required. This shortens the loading window in Partapur from days to hours.</p><h3>Pallets</h3><p>Two-way and four-way entry pallets, hardwood blocks or stringers, sized to the buyer's container plan. Standard sizes for Meerut buyers tend to be 1200 x 1000 mm (Euro-style for UK/EU lanes) and 1100 x 1100 mm (Gulf and ASEAN lanes). Heat-treated and stamped where the destination requires it.</p><h3>Container flooring plywood</h3><p>Heavy 18 mm plywood for repair and refit of dry vans and trailer beds. The Modipuram and Mohkampur trucking fleets running between Meerut and the Mundra and Nhava Sheva ICDs are steady buyers for this.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Kochi to Meerut</h2><p>Meerut sits roughly 2,400 km by road from our Kochi loading yards. The lane we use most:</p><ul><li><strong>Route:</strong> Kochi → Salem → Bengaluru → Hyderabad → Nagpur → Gwalior → Agra → Meerut, mostly on NH-44 and NH-58.</li><li><strong>Transit time:</strong> 6 to 8 days for a single-driver truck, 4 to 5 days with a two-driver relay. We plan to either.</li><li><strong>Truck size:</strong> the standard option is a 32-ft multi-axle carrying about 18 to 20 tonnes of mixed-thickness plywood. For full-crate orders we use 32-ft high-cube bodies that handle bulky knocked-down sets without crushing.</li><li><strong>Alternative:</strong> for very large orders we FOB Cochin to Mundra or JNPT by coastal vessel and rail the container to Tughlakabad ICD for last-mile to Meerut. This works for orders that fill a 20-ft or 40-ft container outright.</li></ul><p>For export consignments we heat-treat at registered facilities and stencil the IPPC ISPM-15 mark, so the crates and pallets clear quarantine at destination. GST and transport are billed extra on top of our ex-factory price card. We share a landed-cost estimate with the proforma invoice, so the Meerut buyer knows the full delivered number before committing.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Which grade fits which Meerut load</h2><p>A quick decision rule based on what we see most often:</p><table><thead><tr><th>Typical Meerut load</th><th>Recommended plywood</th><th>Why</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Cricket bats, balls, sports kit exports</td><td>Packing-grade, 8 mm or 10 mm</td><td>Light cube weight, ISPM-15 ready, low cost per crate</td></tr><tr><td>Publishing and bookbinding machinery</td><td>Packing-grade, 15 mm to 18 mm</td><td>Dense load, needs stacking strength and bracing thickness</td></tr><tr><td>Transformers, electrical equipment</td><td>Packing-grade, 18 mm with hardwood runners</td><td>Heavy point loads, port-handling shocks</td></tr><tr><td>Premium export crates with a specified hardwood face</td><td>Okoume face on packing-grade, 12 mm to 18 mm</td><td>Clean hardwood face, takes stencilling well, accepted by quality-sensitive overseas buyers</td></tr><tr><td>Construction-site shuttering in the Meerut-Modipuram belt</td><td>Shuttering ply, 12 mm</td><td>Multiple-pour reuse, film-faced options on request</td></tr></tbody></table><p>For most Meerut packing-case buyers, our standard hardwood-core packing-grade is the right answer. An Okoume face is a specification call — quote it when the overseas buyer or the freight forwarder asks for a premium look.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">FAQ</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Common questions from Meerut buyers</h2><h3>Do you supply ISPM-15 stamped crates and pallets?</h3><p>Yes. We heat-treat at registered facilities and stencil the IPPC mark, country code IN, treatment code HT and the registered facility number. This is the standard for exports to the EU, UK, Australia and most other destinations Meerut ships to.</p><h3>What is the minimum order you will ship to Meerut?</h3><p>One full truck — roughly 18 to 20 tonnes of plywood, or the equivalent in crate sets and pallets. Smaller part-loads are possible if we can consolidate with another Delhi-NCR delivery, but full-truck pricing is always better for the buyer.</p><h3>How do payment and GST work for an out-of-state buyer?</h3><p>We bill ex-factory Kochi with IGST applicable for an inter-state supply to UP. Transport is billed separately or arranged by the buyer's nominated transporter. We share the proforma invoice with the full breakup, so there are no surprises at delivery.</p></div>

Heavy engineering, railway component fabrication, defence electronics and a sprawl of light-engineering MSMEs all run shifts here, and almost every one of them eventually needs a wooden case, a pallet or a sheet of packing-grade plywood to move finished goods out of the gate. That demand is what brings us up the trunk line from Kochi.</p><p>The city's manufacturing footprint is concentrated across a handful of well-defined belts, and a packing-grade plywood supplier has to think in those terms rather than treating the city as a single market. The major clusters are:</p><ul><li><strong>Sahibabad Industrial Area</strong> — one of north India's older organised estates, home to heavy engineering units, electrical equipment makers and component suppliers feeding both railway and defence supply chains.</li><li><strong>Mohan Nagar industrial belt</strong> — a mix of mid-sized engineering shops, steel fabrication and process units that crate goods for inter-state dispatch and export.</li><li><strong>Site IV, Sahibabad and the South Side GT Road corridor</strong> — denser MSME activity, machined parts, fasteners and ancillaries for the auto and railway sector.</li><li><strong>Bulandshahr Road Industrial Area (BRIA)</strong> — heavier and more land-extensive units, including sheet-metal and structural fabrication that needs flat-bed pallet packing.</li><li><strong>Loni and Tronica City</strong> — newer engineering and electronics clusters where export-grade crating is common.</li></ul><p>Layered on top of that is a defence-electronics ecosystem and its vendor base, plus a dense network of railway component suppliers serving the Northern and North Central railway zones. Both verticals are sensitive packers: they want predictable plywood thickness, square-cut edges and crates that survive multi-mode handling without giving way.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Three product families on the Ghaziabad lane</h2><p>Our Ghaziabad lane is dominated by three product families, all manufactured to Cochin Wood specifications at our Perumbavoor facilities.</p><h3>Packing-grade plywood (commercial / rubberwood core)</h3><p>This is the workhorse. Engineering shops in Sahibabad and Mohan Nagar buy it by the truckload to build their own crates, base frames and case lids in-house. Standard thickness ladder we ship into the NCR:</p><table><thead><tr><th>Thickness</th><th>Typical use</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>6 mm &amp; 8 mm</td><td>Case linings, top covers, lightweight inner partitions</td></tr><tr><td>10 mm &amp; 12 mm</td><td>Most common case-wall thickness for medium-weight railway and electrical components</td></tr><tr><td>14 mm, 15 mm &amp; 16 mm</td><td>Case walls and tops for heavier loads, transformer parts, switchgear</td></tr><tr><td>18 mm</td><td>Base boards, skid tops and crate floors for loads above 500 kg</td></tr></tbody></table><p>Sheet sizes are typically 8x4 ft, with 7x4 and 6x4 cut to order when a customer wants to reduce in-house cutting waste. All rates are quoted ex-factory; GST and transport are extra and quoted lane-specific for Ghaziabad.</p><h3>Finished crates and packing cases</h3><p>For defence electronics, instrumentation and any consignment going to a port, we deliver fully built, ISPM-15 compliant cases — heat-treated, stencilled with the IPPC mark and ready to load. The construction logic for Ghaziabad's typical loads:</p><ul><li>Base: 18 mm plywood skid with hardwood runners (jackwood or rubberwood) sized to the consignment weight.</li><li>Walls and ends: 12 mm or 15 mm packing-grade plywood, framed with seasoned hardwood battens.</li><li>Top: 10 mm or 12 mm with cleats for lift-off access.</li><li>Inner cushioning, VCI lining and silica sachets when the buyer specifies, common for sensitive electronics.</li></ul><h3>Pallets</h3><p>The Ghaziabad pallet mix is roughly half four-way export pallets (1200 x 1000 mm, 1200 x 800 mm) and half custom-size two-way pallets for in-plant movement. We supply both, heat-treated where the load is heading out of India. Pallet decks are typically 12 mm to 18 mm plywood on a hardwood frame; sawn-timber-only pallets are available for buyers who prefer the conventional plank-deck design.</p><h3>Container flooring</h3><p>Container refurbishers and a handful of CFS operators in the wider NCR pull container-floor plywood — typically 28 mm phenolic-bonded, exterior-grade boards. We quote this on a project basis since the spec varies by buyer.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Kochi to Ghaziabad — how the lane actually runs</h2><p>The road distance from our Perumbavoor manufacturing belt to Ghaziabad is roughly 2,400 km. Two routes matter:</p><ol><li><strong>Direct road via the NH 44 trunk line</strong> — Kochi to Bengaluru to Hyderabad to Nagpur to Agra to Ghaziabad. A full truckload (32 ft single-axle or 22-ft container truck) typically takes 5 to 7 working days depending on driver pairing and weigh-bridge queues. This is the default for crate consignments and full-truck plywood orders.</li><li><strong>Coastal / rail multimodal</strong> — for very large packing-plywood orders, FOB Cochin via rail rake to a north India ICD (Tughlakabad or Dadri) can work out cheaper per square foot, with a final road leg to Ghaziabad. Transit is longer (10 to 14 days) but the per-sheet freight drops noticeably above roughly 30 tonnes.</li></ol><p>For most Ghaziabad buyers — engineering shops ordering 200 to 800 sheets at a time, or crate buyers needing 20 to 60 finished cases — the direct truck route is the right call. We pre-load at our Perumbavoor yard, seal and dispatch with GPS-tracked transporters who run the south-to-NCR lane regularly.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Which grade for which Ghaziabad load</h2><p>A short decision rule we share with new buyers in the NCR:</p><table><thead><tr><th>Use case</th><th>Recommended material</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Standard engineering crates, switchgear, motors, machined parts</td><td>Packing-grade commercial / rubberwood plywood, 12–15 mm walls, 18 mm base</td></tr><tr><td>Defence electronics, instrumentation, export-bound consignments needing premium finish</td><td>Okoume face veneer on the MR-Packing or BWR grade — cleaner face, dimensionally stable, takes stencilling well</td></tr><tr><td>Heavy structural fabrications, transformer tanks, machinery skids</td><td>18 mm packing-grade base with hardwood runners; sawn timber bracing</td></tr><tr><td>Reusable in-plant pallets carrying steel coils or castings</td><td>Hardwood plank pallets or 18 mm ply-deck pallets</td></tr><tr><td>Shuttering for civil works (occasional for industrial buyers)</td><td>Film-faced shuttering ply, 12 mm or 18 mm</td></tr></tbody></table><p>Okoume is a face-veneer option, not a separate grade — it sits on top of our MR-Packing or BWR cores and is the right pick when a buyer needs a cleaner-looking, more uniform crate surface for export-grade dispatch.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">FAQ</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Questions Ghaziabad buyers usually ask first</h2><h3>What is the minimum order quantity for a Ghaziabad delivery?</h3><p>For loose plywood, one full truck (roughly 600 to 900 sheets depending on thickness mix) is the economic minimum on the direct road route. For built-up crates, we typically take orders from 20 cases upward. Smaller orders are possible, but freight per unit rises sharply.</p><h3>Are your crates ISPM-15 compliant for export consignments?</h3><p>Yes. We supply heat-treated, IPPC-stencilled wooden packaging through licensed treatment facilities. The IPPC mark, treatment code and country code are stencilled on two opposite faces as required by ISPM-15. Useful for any consignment leaving Ghaziabad via Mundra, Nhava Sheva or air cargo from Delhi.</p><h3>How are rates quoted — landed or ex-factory?</h3><p>All standard rates are ex-factory, GST and transport extra. For Ghaziabad we quote freight separately because lane rates move with diesel and seasonal demand. Once thickness, monthly quantity and exact delivery address are confirmed, we issue a proforma invoice with a landed rate the buyer can plan against.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Get a quote</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Working with us</h2><p>Our group has been in the Perumbavoor plywood belt since 1986 — roughly 40 years of group manufacturing experience feeding into how we cut, glue and build packing cases today. That workshop know-how sits behind every crate we ship to the engineering plants we serve in Ghaziabad.</p><p>If you run packing, dispatch or procurement for an engineering, railway or defence-electronics unit anywhere in the Ghaziabad industrial belt — Sahibabad, Mohan Nagar, BRIA, Loni, Tronica City — we are set up to quote, sample and deliver on the trunk-line route from Kochi. Share thickness, monthly volume, delivery PIN code and the load profile, and we will come back with a thickness recommendation, an ex-factory rate and a Ghaziabad-landed price the same day.</p><p><a href="/contact">Request a quote</a> with your spec sheet, or browse our <a href="/resources">resource hub</a> for the packing-plywood thickness guide, ISPM-15 crating notes and pallet sizing references our buyers in north India use most.</p></div>

For a manufacturer shipping out of Kochi, that mix is exactly the customer profile we are built for: factories that crate finished goods, palletise sub-assemblies, and floor export containers month after month.</p><p>Sonipat is not one industrial cluster but several stitched together. The Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway opened the western flank of the district to large-format manufacturing, and the older Rai and Kundli HSIIDC estates have hosted bicycle, auto-component, food-processing, textile and pharmaceutical units for decades. North of the city, the Barhi industrial area handles smaller fabrication and ancillary work. Add a large integrated steel plant on the Sonipat axis and the cycle and tyre majors operating in and around the district, and the packaging demand profile becomes clear: thousands of export-bound CKD crates, heavy steel coils that need dunnage and floor boards, and palletised cargo destined for ICDs at Tughlakabad, Garhi Harsaru and Patparganj before the sea leg.</p><h3>Kundli and Rai HSIIDC estates</h3><p>Kundli's planned plots host bicycle and component manufacturers, packaging converters and pharma units. Rai is the older estate with a heavier engineering footprint. Both estates feed plywood demand from the same vendors: case-makers and pallet shops operating inside or just outside the gate, building to the OEM's drawing.</p><h3>Barhi and Murthal industrial pockets</h3><p>North of NH-44, Barhi and Murthal carry smaller fabrication units, food and dairy processors, and a growing cluster of warehousing and 3PL operations along the expressway. Warehousing demand tends to favour standard ISO pallets and one-way export skids rather than custom crates.</p><h3>Cycle, tyre and steel sectors</h3><p>Sonipat's bicycle sector ships CKD export crates with ply walls and battened skid bases. The tyre sector around the district moves casings on ply-floored skids and uses heavier-gauge plywood for export crate sides. Steel and steel-product flows need thicker shuttering or container-floor grade plywood that can carry coil weights without delamination at the edges.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Sheets, crates, pallets and container flooring</h2><p>Three product families cover almost every load that leaves Sonipat under a CWI-stamped board.</p><h3>Packing-grade plywood sheets</h3><p>Our MR-Packing range runs 6 mm through 18 mm in the standard 8x4 sheet, with 9 mm, 12 mm and 18 mm doing the bulk of the case-making volume. The 6 mm and 8 mm sheets handle inner partitions and lid panels for lighter loads; the 12 mm and 18 mm sheets carry side walls and bases on heavier crates. Sheets ship strapped in mill bundles, suitable for both forklift and crane offload at a Sonipat dock.</p><table><thead><tr><th>Thickness</th><th>Typical use in the crate</th><th>Sheet</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>6–8 mm</td><td>Inner partitions, lid panels, lighter loads</td><td>8x4</td></tr><tr><td>9–12 mm</td><td>Side walls, bases on medium crates</td><td>8x4</td></tr><tr><td>18 mm and above</td><td>Heavy crate bases, container flooring, coil dunnage</td><td>8x4</td></tr></tbody></table><h3>Export crates and packing cases</h3><p>When a customer prefers finished crates over sheets, we cut, batten and bolt to drawing in Kerala and ship the assembled or knock-down case. CKD bicycle crates, tyre-stack crates, machinery and engineering-good cases all sit in this lane. Heat-treatment to ISPM-15 is available where the destination port demands it, with the IPPC stamp applied to the batten.</p><h3>Wooden pallets</h3><p>Standard four-way entry pallets in 1200x1000 mm and 1200x800 mm sizes, plus custom skid-bases sized to the load. For warehousing customers in Murthal and along the expressway, the standard ISO sizes are the high-runner; for OEM-bound auto-component shipments, custom sizes built to the cage or rack are more common.</p><h3>Container flooring and dunnage</h3><p>For steel coils, machinery and heavy export, container-floor grade plywood at 18 mm or above acts as the load-bearing floor over the existing container floor, distributing point loads and protecting the box. Dunnage strips and chocks ship from the same family of timber.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">How the Kochi-to-Sonipat lane runs</h2><p>Kochi to Sonipat is roughly 2,300 km by road, four to six days transit on the standard trunk route through Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Nagpur and into the NCR via the Agra-Faridabad approach. For sheet plywood and pre-cut components, the road option works because the load is dense and stacks well in a 32-foot or 40-foot truck.</p><p>For larger volumes, the rail-and-road combination via ICD Tughlakabad makes more sense: Cochin Port to JNPT or Mundra, ICD rake to Tughlakabad, last-mile truck to Sonipat. The maths depends on monthly volume and the customer's willingness to break stock into ICD-pickup batches. Where the load is mixed plywood plus finished crates, we route the crates by direct truck and palletise the sheets for the rail leg. For crates that need it, the ISPM-15 heat-treatment and IPPC stamp are applied before dispatch so the consignment clears phytosanitary checks at the destination port.</p><table><thead><tr><th>Leg</th><th>Distance / route</th><th>Indicative transit</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Kochi factory to Sonipat (direct truck)</td><td>~2,300 km via NH-44 / NH-48</td><td>4–6 days</td></tr><tr><td>Cochin Port to ICD Tughlakabad (sea + rail)</td><td>JNPT or Mundra trans-shipment</td><td>10–14 days</td></tr><tr><td>ICD Tughlakabad to Sonipat plant gate</td><td>~50–65 km</td><td>same day</td></tr></tbody></table></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Which grade for which Sonipat load</h2><ul><li><strong>Packing-grade MR plywood</strong> is the default for export crates carrying bicycles, tyres, auto-components and general engineering goods. It is the most cost-efficient board for one-way export packaging.</li><li><strong>BWR / BWP grades</strong> earn their cost when the cargo is high-value, the sea voyage is long, or the customer ships into humid coastal destinations through the monsoon. For Sonipat buyers exporting to GCC, Africa or South-East Asia, BWR makes sense on premium SKUs.</li><li><strong>Okoume-faced packing ply</strong> is a face-veneer option on the MR-Packing and BWR grades, not a separate grade. It is the right call when the buyer specifies a light, uniform face for branded crates or when the destination customer rejects darker veneer faces.</li><li><strong>Shuttering plywood</strong> is the wrong choice for export packing but the right choice for construction sites and infrastructure project buyers in the district. Different grade, different conversation.</li></ul></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">FAQ</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Common questions from Sonipat buyers</h2><h3>Can you ship directly to Kundli or Rai HSIIDC plot addresses?</h3><p>Yes. Trucks deliver to the plant gate on standard HSIIDC plots; the only check is unloading access for a 32-foot or 40-foot trailer. Crane-offload is available on request for pre-assembled crates above 1.5 tonnes.</p><h3>What is the minimum order for a Sonipat consignment?</h3><p>Full-truck loads are the most economical, typically 18–22 tonnes per truck depending on sheet thickness. Below that, we consolidate with other northern dispatches or route via ICD Tughlakabad for buyers willing to take ICD pickup.</p><h3>Can crates ship pre-stamped with ISPM-15 for export?</h3><p>Yes. Heat-treatment under IPPC certification is available on the batten timber, with the ISPM-15 stamp on the finished crate. Specify on the PO whether your destination port requires the stamp.</p></div>

The city's economy turns on three load-heavy verticals — cotton and woollen textiles, a large refinery on its western edge, and the thermal-power corridor a short haul east — and every one of them needs wood. Bales need ply caps, refinery spares need export crates, turbine consumables travel on hardwood pallets.</p><p>The industrial footprint is unusually tight. Within roughly 15 km of the city centre you find four distinct buyer pockets, each with its own packing rhythm:</p><ul><li><strong>The Panipat textile cluster and HSIIDC Sector 29</strong> — the "handloom city" power-loom belt: bedsheets, blankets, furnishings, towels, durries. Bale-pressing is continuous, and the export-grade fraction is the part that actually consumes plywood, since compressed bales need a top-and-bottom ply cap plus end boards to survive sea travel.</li><li><strong>The old industrial area and Sector 25 HSIIDC</strong> — the woollen and shoddy-yarn mills concentrated around the GT Road, plus recycled-textile units shipping to Africa and the Middle East. Volumes are smaller per consignment but the frequency is high.</li><li><strong>The refinery and petrochemical complex</strong> on the Baholi side — a continuous flow of MRO spares, pumps, valves and exchanger tubes that need close-tolerance crates, often heat-treated and stamped for re-export of warranty returns.</li><li><strong>The thermal-power station at Asan Khurd</strong> and its ancillary belt — boiler-tube bundles, coal-handling spares, transformer accessories. Loads are heavy, point-loaded, and need hardwood-bottom pallets rather than soft-pine substitutes.</li></ul><p>Add the National Highway 44 logistics corridor that puts Panipat 90 km from ICD Tughlakabad and 100 km from ICD Sonipat, and you have a city pushing a steady volume of export-spec packaging through its gates every week.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Three product families cover most of the Kochi–Panipat lane</h2><p>Roughly 95% of what moves on this lane falls into three lines, all manufactured in our facilities to a consistent core specification.</p><h3>1. Packing-grade plywood (the workhorse)</h3><p>This is the bulk line for textile-bale capping, crate side-panels and reusable internal partitions.</p><table><thead><tr><th>Thickness</th><th>Typical use in Panipat</th><th>Standard size</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>6 mm</td><td>Bale top/bottom caps, light separators</td><td>8' x 4'</td></tr><tr><td>8 mm</td><td>Internal crate partitions, blanket-bale tops</td><td>8' x 4'</td></tr><tr><td>12 mm</td><td>Crate sides for refinery spares, durry bale ends</td><td>8' x 4'</td></tr><tr><td>16–18 mm</td><td>Crate lids carrying loose top-stack load</td><td>8' x 4'</td></tr></tbody></table><p>Custom-cut sizes (4' x 3', 6' x 3', off-square panels for cylindrical equipment) are run to order in the same despatch. For high-value or moisture-sensitive cargo, the faces can be specified in <strong>Okoume</strong> — a face-veneer option on the packing and BWR grades that gives a tighter surface and better screw-holding.</p><h3>2. Wooden crates and export cases</h3><p>For the refinery belt and any Panipat exporter pushing engineering goods out through Mundra, Pipavav or Nhava Sheva, we build closed and open-frame crates to ISPM-15 specification — heat-treated timber, HT stamp, fumigation certificate where the destination requires it. The standard build uses a hardwood skid base, plywood sheathing on the four walls and lid, and steel strapping. Internal blocking and load-spreaders are designed against the actual equipment dimensions, not a generic template.</p><h3>3. Pallets and container flooring</h3><p>Two-way and four-way entry pallets in standard 1200 x 1000 mm and 1200 x 800 mm footprints, plus custom sizes for textile-bale conveyors. For the power corridor and the heavier refinery flows we run a hardwood-bottom pallet that handles point loads above 1.5 tonnes without crushing. Container-flooring plywood (BWP-bonded, 18–21 mm) is supplied for export box-fabricators in the Sonipat–Panipat belt who refurbish 20' and 40' containers for road use.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Kochi to Panipat: a 2,300 km lane that still works on price</h2><p>The straight-line lane from our Perumbavoor/Kochi dispatch point to Panipat is approximately 2,300 km by road. The realistic options:</p><ul><li><strong>Direct trailer (32-ft single-axle or 40-ft multi-axle)</strong> — 6 to 8 days transit door-to-door, depending on driver changes and the Maharashtra–MP corridor. Best for full-load orders of 18–22 tonnes (roughly 9,000–11,000 sq.ft of 18 mm plywood, or one full container-equivalent of crates).</li><li><strong>Part-load via Delhi NCR consolidators</strong> — 8 to 10 days, useful for trial orders or 3–5 tonne shipments. Final-mile delivery from a Delhi or Sonipat hub to Panipat is short.</li><li><strong>Coastal plus road combination</strong> — for very large volumes, container by sea to Mundra Port (~5 days) plus 1,150 km trucking to Panipat. Competitive when the order touches 40+ tonnes.</li></ul><p>Prices are quoted ex-Kochi by default; GST and freight are itemised separately so the buyer can compare against local Yamunanagar-supplied plywood on a clean apples-to-apples basis. For most textile-bale and crate-grade orders above 8,000 sq.ft, the landed Panipat cost still works in our favour, because the input timber and core-stock economics in Kerala are different from those in the Yamunanagar belt.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Which grade for which Panipat load</h2><p>A short field guide for the Panipat buyer:</p><ul><li><strong>Cotton-textile and woollen bales for domestic dispatch</strong> — packing-grade ply in 6–8 mm caps is sufficient. No need to over-spec.</li><li><strong>Export bales going through Mundra or Nhava Sheva</strong> — packing-grade ply, but step up to 8–12 mm and pair with ISPM-15 hardwood end-frames if the buyer's bill of lading calls for it.</li><li><strong>Refinery spares, valves, pump assemblies</strong> — a crate build with 12–16 mm packing-grade sides and a hardwood skid; for high-value or moisture-sensitive cargo, upgrade the faces to Okoume for a tighter surface and better screw-holding.</li><li><strong>Heavy power-corridor spares and transformer accessories</strong> — pallets must be hardwood-bottom, never soft-pine. Crate lids in 18 mm packing-grade or BWR if the load sits in an outdoor yard for weeks before despatch.</li><li><strong>Shuttering ply</strong> — relevant when Panipat construction buyers (commercial real estate along GT Road, refinery shutdown civil works) need film-faced ply for repeat-use formwork. A different product line, quoted separately.</li></ul><p>For more on the grade-selection logic, see our <a href="/resources">resource hub</a>.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">FAQ</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Common Panipat buyer questions</h2><h3>Do you supply directly to Panipat or only through a Delhi dealer?</h3><p>Direct from our Kochi despatch point. The invoice is from Cochin Wood Industries to the Panipat buyer with the buyer's GSTIN. No interim layer.</p><h3>Can you do ISPM-15 fumigation and HT stamping for export crates?</h3><p>Yes. Crates can be supplied with HT-stamped timber and the accompanying fumigation certificate where the destination country requires it. Specify the destination at the quote stage so the right treatment route is chosen.</p><h3>What is the minimum order that makes the Kochi lane economical?</h3><p>Roughly 4–5 tonnes for part-load economics, 18–22 tonnes for a clean full-truck rate. Smaller pilot orders are fine — we will quote them honestly, including the part-load premium, so you can compare against local sources before committing to a larger lane.</p></div>

Almost every outgoing shipment from the city is either a food-grade export carton load, a heavy and irregular piece of agri-equipment, or research material bound for a partner institute abroad. All three specify plywood, not solid wood, for the outer pack.</p><p>Industrial activity is spread across a few well-defined corridors rather than one estate. Buyers we work with are usually located in or shipping out of:</p><ul><li><strong>Sector 3 and Sector 6 industrial areas</strong> — older HSIIDC plotted estates with rice mills, dal units and packaging converters.</li><li><strong>HSIIDC Industrial Estate, Karnal (Sector 39 / Bastara belt)</strong> — newer plots running along NH-44 toward Panipat, with agri-machinery, cold storage and food-processing units.</li><li><strong>Taraori and Nilokheri belts</strong> — the basmati paddy heartland north of the city, where mills and exporters dominate.</li><li><strong>Madhuban / dairy-research campus zone</strong> — dairy research, instrumentation and pilot-plant equipment that ships in crates.</li><li><strong>Regional agricultural research stations</strong> — research consignments that demand heat-treated export crating for instruments and germplasm shipments.</li></ul></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">The material mix flowing into Karnal</h2><p>The grade and thickness pattern we send up the lane is predictable. Here is what we manufacture for the city's main verticals.</p><h3>Packing-grade plywood for rice and food export</h3><p>Basmati exporters in Taraori, Nilokheri and Sector 3 ship in 20 ft and 40 ft containers, usually with stacked 5 kg, 10 kg and 20 kg consumer bags inside master cartons. The plywood goes into:</p><ul><li><strong>Bottom load boards and dunnage sheets</strong> — 12 mm and 14 mm commercial / rubberwood packing-grade ply, 4x8 ft, to spread point loads on the container floor and protect the bottom layer of bags during long sea voyages to the GCC, EU and US.</li><li><strong>Top covers and side liners</strong> — 8 mm and 10 mm sheets to stop carton crush during stevedoring.</li><li><strong>Pallet decks for reefer or dry export</strong> — 12 mm packing-grade ply on a hardwood runner frame for 1100x1100 mm and 1200x1000 mm pallets.</li></ul><h3>Crates for agri-equipment, dairy-plant parts and research instruments</h3><p>This is where heat-treated construction becomes non-negotiable. For the city's agri-machinery makers and for research and dairy-plant export consignments we typically build:</p><ul><li>Closed crates in 12 mm or 15 mm packing-grade plywood on a 75x50 mm or 100x50 mm hardwood frame.</li><li>Open slatted crates with 18 mm sheets where the consignment is large but light (extruded parts, frames, panels).</li><li>Heavy-duty bolted crates with 18 mm plywood skins and internal bracing for transformers, pump assemblies and dairy-plant equipment.</li></ul><h3>Pallets and container flooring</h3><p>Standard four-way entry pallets in 1200x1000 mm and 1100x1100 mm are the bulk of pallet demand for the city's exporters. For specialised machinery loads out of the HSIIDC Sector 39 belt we also supply pre-cut <strong>18 mm container flooring blanks</strong> sized to drop into 20 ft and 40 ft container floors as a sacrificial layer protecting the original deck.</p><h3>Indicative selling rates (ex-factory, GST and transport extra)</h3><table><thead><tr><th>Material</th><th>Thickness</th><th>Rate (Rs / sq.ft)</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Commercial / rubberwood packing-grade ply</td><td>8 mm</td><td>28</td></tr><tr><td>Commercial / rubberwood packing-grade ply</td><td>12 mm</td><td>33.5</td></tr><tr><td>Commercial / rubberwood packing-grade ply</td><td>15 mm</td><td>39</td></tr><tr><td>Commercial / rubberwood packing-grade ply</td><td>18 mm</td><td>42</td></tr><tr><td>Jackwood hardwood runners</td><td>1/4 inch minus</td><td>Rs 400 / cft</td></tr><tr><td>Okoume export-grade face veneer</td><td>On request</td><td>Quote per consignment</td></tr></tbody></table></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Kochi-to-Karnal, two ways</h2><p>Karnal is roughly 2,350 km from our Perumbavoor cluster by road. We work the lane two ways depending on volume and urgency:</p><ol><li><strong>Full-truck road movement</strong> — single-driver and team-driver 32 ft and 40 ft multi-axles up NH-66 / NH-48 through Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Nagpur, then NH-44 via Delhi to Karnal. Transit is typically 7–9 days for team-drive and 9–11 days for single-driver, depending on monsoon and Delhi border conditions.</li><li><strong>Rail / coastal-and-road combination</strong> — for larger consolidated loads we move material into a North India hub by rail, or by coastal feeder to Mundra / Pipavav and trans-ship by road into Karnal. This is slower (12–15 days) but materially cheaper on per-sheet landed cost for very large orders.</li></ol><p>For most Karnal buyers the full-truckload road option wins because it delivers directly into the factory gate without a second handling. Cut sizes and pre-assembled crate kits are loaded so the buyer can unload onto a level surface and move straight to the packing line. Crates built for export are constructed from heat-treated timber and carry the IPPC mark, clearing ISPM-15 phytosanitary inspection at the port of loading without rework.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Packing grade vs Okoume vs shuttering ply</h2><p>Karnal buyers ask this often, so a clear short answer:</p><ul><li><strong>Use packing-grade commercial / rubberwood plywood</strong> for rice export pallets, dunnage, food-export crates and most agri-equipment cases. It is the workhorse and the rate card above is built around it.</li><li><strong>Specify an Okoume face veneer</strong> when the consignee is European or Japanese and demands a clean, light, uniform face — for example precision instruments shipped from research labs to overseas partners, or premium machinery exports where the crate itself is part of the buyer experience. Okoume is a face-veneer option on the MR-Packing and BWR grades, not a separate quality tier.</li><li><strong>Use shuttering ply</strong> only if the end use is concrete formwork on a Karnal construction project. Shuttering grade is a poor choice for export packing — it is heavier, oilier and not designed for one-way disposable use.</li></ul></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">FAQ</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Karnal buyers ask</h2><h3>Do you handle ISPM-15 marking for our export crates?</h3><p>Yes. Crates built for export consignments out of Karnal are constructed from heat-treated timber and stencilled with the IPPC mark and our registered HT facility code, so they clear phytosanitary inspection at any port of loading without rework.</p><h3>What is the minimum order you'll send to Karnal?</h3><p>Because of the 2,350 km lane, the economics work best at a full truckload — roughly 18–22 tonnes of plywood and timber. We do consolidate smaller orders with other North India deliveries where the schedule allows; ask us when you enquire.</p><h3>Can you cut sheets to size before despatch?</h3><p>Yes. Most Karnal customers receive pre-cut blanks matched to their carton, pallet or crate drawing. Cutting at our Kerala plant reduces site waste and lets you unload directly onto the packing line.</p></div>

The large passenger-car and two-wheeler assembly plants off NH-48, their Tier-1 supplier ecosystem and the IMT Manesar belt twenty kilometres south together generate one of the heaviest CKD and component-export packing demands in northern India. The IT corridor along Golf Course Road and the Cyber City cluster adds a second, lighter stream — server racks, networking gear and data-centre hardware that all need wooden crates rated for air or ocean freight. For a plywood and packing supplier, the city is best understood as four overlapping zones, each with a different packing profile.</p><h3>Udyog Vihar (Sectors 18, 19, 20)</h3><p>The original industrial estate. Phases I to VI house garment exporters, electronics assemblers, small auto-ancillary units and a long tail of contract manufacturers. Crate volumes are moderate but frequent — typically 6mm to 12mm packing-grade plywood for export cartons and lightweight cases.</p><h3>IMT Manesar (Sectors 1, 2, 3, 7, 8)</h3><p>Heavy auto. This is where the major car and two-wheeler assembly base and a Tier-1 auto-component cluster sit. CKD packing for export markets — Latin America, ASEAN, Africa — drives the bulk of our plywood movement here. Expect heavier crates, 12mm and 18mm boards, with substantial pallet runs.</p><h3>Sectors 32, 33, 34 and the Pace City belt</h3><p>A mixed-engineering pocket — pump makers, hydraulic-equipment builders, electrical-panel fabricators. These units often need fabricated crates around odd-shaped machinery, which favours sawn-timber framing on a plywood skin.</p><h3>Cyber City, Sector 44 and the DLF Phase III IT corridor</h3><p>Data centres, server-rack makers and hyperscale customers' India operations. Crates here are smaller but engineered — anti-static lining is often specified, dimensional tolerance matters, and ISPM-15 marking is non-negotiable for export-bound consignments.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Three product lines do most of the work on this lane</h2><h3>Packing-grade plywood (commercial / rubberwood)</h3><p>Our standard packing-grade range, manufactured ex-factory in 8×4 sheets:</p><table><thead><tr><th>Thickness</th><th>Typical use in Gurugram</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>6mm</td><td>Light electronics cartons, garment crates, IT accessory packs</td></tr><tr><td>8mm – 10mm</td><td>Mid-weight auto-component cases, hardware crates</td></tr><tr><td>12mm</td><td>Standard CKD crate walls and tops, machinery skin</td></tr><tr><td>15mm – 18mm</td><td>Crate bases, pallet decks, heavy-machinery export cases</td></tr></tbody></table><p>Pricing is per square foot, ex-factory, with GST and transport added on the proforma invoice. Thickness tolerance is operator-honest: "11+" is sold as 12mm and "17+" as 18mm — no marketing thickness games.</p><h3>Okoume-faced plywood</h3><p>Okoume is an export-grade veneer face option on our MR-packing and BWR boards, not a separate grade. It reads as a premium surface — clean, light, uniform — which matters when the crate itself is part of the buyer's brand impression (luxury automotive parts, high-value electronics, regulated medical equipment). For a Tier-1 auto-component supplier sending CKD kits to a European buyer, an Okoume-faced crate often pays for itself in customer perception. Quoted on request, not in the standard packing card.</p><h3>Crates, pallets and container flooring</h3><ul><li><strong>Export crates</strong> — built to ISPM-15 standard with heat-treated softwood framing and a plywood skin. Side-loading, top-loading or fully-knocked-down configurations on request.</li><li><strong>Pallets</strong> — standard 1200×1000mm and 1200×800mm decks, with custom sizes for the auto supplier base. Two-way and four-way entry.</li><li><strong>Container flooring</strong> — 28mm flooring panels for refurbishing dry containers used in the auto-component reverse-logistics loop.</li><li><strong>Sawn timber</strong> — jackwood at ₹400/cft (¼-inch minus tolerance) and rubberwood runners for framing.</li></ul></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Kochi-to-Gurugram movement</h2><p>The lane runs roughly 2,300 km by road and 2,750 km by rail. Two options work for Gurugram buyers, and the choice usually comes down to volume and urgency.</p><h3>Road — full truck loads, 6 to 8 days transit</h3><p>From our Perumbavoor dispatch point, a 32-foot single-axle truck reaches the IMT Manesar belt in roughly six to eight days via the Bengaluru–Hyderabad–Nagpur–Agra–Delhi corridor on NH-44 and NH-48. This is the workhorse mode for one-time or low-frequency orders, typically a single truck of 18 to 22 tonnes of finished plywood and crate stock. Unloading at Manesar plants and Udyog Vihar yards is straightforward — we factor unloading charges into the proforma where the buyer cannot provide forklift support.</p><h3>Rail / multi-modal — bulk recurring lanes, 10 to 14 days</h3><p>For recurring monthly volumes, a Cochin Port containerised dispatch to ICD Tughlakabad or ICD Patparganj, then short-haul trucked into Gurugram, often works out cheaper per square foot. The trade-off is transit time and one extra handling step. We are comfortable with both modes and will quote on whichever option lands the better delivered price.</p><h3>FOB Cochin for export buyers</h3><p>For Gurugram-headquartered exporters who consolidate at JNPT or Mundra Port, we can quote FOB Cochin for finished export packing — useful when the buyer is comparing Kerala-origin pricing against north-India suppliers for the same EXIM destination.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Which board for which Gurugram load</h2><p>A practical operator checklist we walk buyers through over the first call:</p><ol><li><strong>Standard auto-component CKD crate, domestic or regional export</strong> — commercial packing-grade plywood in 12mm or 15mm, jackwood framing. Best cost-per-crate.</li><li><strong>Premium-export CKD or high-value electronics for European or Japanese buyers</strong> — Okoume-faced packing or BWR plywood. Cleaner cosmetics, tighter tolerance, better customer-side perception.</li><li><strong>Construction-equipment or formwork buyers in the broader Delhi-NCR build cycle</strong> — shuttering ply, 12mm or 18mm, for concrete formwork on Gurugram's commercial real-estate and metro-corridor projects.</li><li><strong>Server-rack and data-centre crates from Cyber City</strong> — 9mm or 12mm packing-grade with anti-static or moisture-barrier lining specified by the buyer.</li><li><strong>Pallets for the auto supplier chain</strong> — standard pallet decks in 12mm or 15mm, four-way entry, ISPM-15 marked.</li></ol></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">FAQ</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Common questions from Gurugram buyers</h2><h3>Can you match a Yamunanagar or local NCR supplier's headline rate?</h3><p>On pure sheet-pricing for thin-gauge commercial ply, a local north-India mill will usually be cheaper because there is no 2,300-km freight in the number. Where Kochi-origin makes sense is consistency of face-veneer quality (especially Okoume), thickness honesty, and bulk export-grade lanes where the freight differential gets absorbed by lower per-sheet cost. We are happy to send a delivered-Gurugram quote so the comparison is apples to apples.</p><h3>Do you supply ISPM-15 marked crates for direct export?</h3><p>Yes. We build to ISPM-15 with heat-treated softwood framing, the IPPC stamp applied, and full documentation for the buyer's CHA. This is the standard spec for auto-component CKD packing leaving Gurugram for Europe, Japan, ASEAN and Latin America.</p><h3>What is the minimum order for a Gurugram dispatch?</h3><p>Economically, a full single-axle truck — roughly 18 to 22 tonnes of plywood, or an equivalent mix of plywood and finished crates. Smaller orders are possible via part-load operators but the per-sheet landed cost rises noticeably; for a one-off trial we usually suggest a half-truck consolidated with another north-India order.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Get a quote</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Get a delivered-Gurugram quote</h2><p>If you run an auto-component plant in IMT Manesar, a packing line in Udyog Vihar, a data-centre OEM in Cyber City, or a construction contractor working the NCR build cycle, we can put a firm number against your spec — thickness, sheet size, monthly quantity, delivery address, mode of transport. <a href="/contact">Request a quote</a> with those details and we will reply with an ex-Kochi rate, freight to your Gurugram address, and a proforma invoice within one working day. Between the NIT industrial belt, the Ballabgarh foundries and the auto-component clusters feeding commercial-vehicle, tractor and construction-equipment lines, the city ships out crates of castings, forgings, gearboxes and farm-equipment subassemblies almost every working hour. Each of those crates needs plywood that will not flex, fail or split when a 600 kg cylinder head lands on a truck bed in 44-degree summer heat. Faridabad is not one industrial estate but a stack of overlapping belts, and the crate spec changes with each one, so it helps to know which belt the load is moving through before you order.</p><h3>NIT and the old industrial spine</h3><p>The NIT (New Industrial Township) sectors — broadly Sectors 6, 24, 25, 27, 31 and the older Sector 58/59 cluster — house the original Faridabad engineering economy: sheet-metal pressings, tool-room work, automotive electricals, switchgear, fasteners and a long tail of tier-2 and tier-3 component suppliers. Output here tends to ship in mid-sized crates of 80 kg to 400 kg, often consolidated into LCL or part-load trucking toward Mundra, Pipavav or domestic OEM plants.</p><h3>Ballabgarh and the foundry belt</h3><p>South of the city, Ballabgarh and the surrounding sectors are foundry-heavy: grey iron, ductile iron and aluminium castings going to commercial-vehicle, tractor and construction-equipment manufacturers. Castings are unforgiving cargo — sharp burrs, point loads, and weights that frequently cross 250 kg per piece. Plywood crates here have to act as both a structural frame and an abrasion barrier.</p><h3>Sectors 58 to 68 and the newer estates</h3><p>The newer auto-component and assembly units along the Mathura Road belt, plus the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad corridor, lean toward larger consolidated export shipments — gearboxes, hydraulic assemblies, axle parts and farm-equipment subassemblies bound for the GCC, Africa and Southeast Asia. These typically need export-spec wooden cases, container loading plans and stronger pallet stacks.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">What we ship</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Four product families up the Kochi-Faridabad lane</h2><p>For industrial buyers across these belts, we move four broad product families up the Kochi-Faridabad lane. Each one has a specific job.</p><h3>Packing-grade plywood (sheets)</h3><p>Our core line — commercial and rubberwood-faced packing plywood, manufactured to Cochin Wood specifications at our facilities in Perumbavoor. Standard thickness range:</p><table><thead><tr><th>Thickness</th><th>Typical use in Faridabad</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>6 mm</td><td>Crate lids, internal dividers, light dunnage</td></tr><tr><td>8 mm</td><td>Side panels for medium component crates</td></tr><tr><td>10–12 mm</td><td>Side and base panels, foundry casting crates</td></tr><tr><td>14–16 mm</td><td>Base panels for heavy castings, gearbox cases</td></tr><tr><td>18 mm</td><td>Heavy-duty pallet decks, container flooring sub-layers</td></tr></tbody></table><p>Standard sheet size is 8 ft x 4 ft, with shorter cuts available on indent. All packing-grade is supplied EX-FACTORY; GST and transport are quoted separately so buyers can see the real freight number on the Kochi-Faridabad lane. An Okoume face veneer is available as an option on the packing or BWR substrate where a cleaner, lighter, more presentable crate surface is needed.</p><h3>Wooden crates and packing cases</h3><p>For buyers who would rather take a finished crate than fabricate locally, we build cases to drawing — open-top, closed, skidded base, with corner reinforcement and heat-treatment stamping where the cargo is bound for export. Typical Faridabad-bound builds include foundry casting cases, gear and transmission boxes, and consolidated export crates for auto-component exporters.</p><h3>Pallets</h3><p>We supply two-way and four-way wooden pallets in the common Indian footprints — 1200 x 1000 mm and 1100 x 1100 mm — plus custom sizes for OEM-specified loads. For Faridabad foundries handling heavy castings, the 1200 x 1000 four-way design with hardwood runners is the workhorse.</p><h3>Container flooring and dunnage</h3><p>For exporters loading 20 ft and 40 ft containers out of ICDs and onward to Mundra or Pipavav, we supply thicker packing-grade sheets used as flooring overlay and bracing dunnage — typically 12 mm or 18 mm rubberwood ply, cut to container width with a small clearance for easy fit.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Logistics</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Kochi to Faridabad: two routes, one transparent quote</h2><p>Faridabad sits roughly 2,350 km north of Kochi. We move material on two main modes, and the right choice depends on lot size and urgency.</p><h3>Direct trucking lane</h3><p>For full-truck and part-load consignments, we dispatch 32 ft single-axle and multi-axle trucks via the NH-44 corridor through Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Agra, terminating in Faridabad sectors directly. Transit time runs 6 to 8 days door-to-door depending on season and toll-plaza congestion at Delhi-NCR entry points. This is the right mode for finished crates, pallet stacks and time-sensitive sheet orders.</p><h3>Port-routed economics</h3><p>For large sheet-only consignments where transit time is less critical, we can load containers FOB Cochin port and route through coastal shipping or rail to inland container depots near Delhi-NCR, with a final road leg into Faridabad. This often works out cheaper per sheet on full-container volumes, particularly for buyers with their own ICD account. Export-bound cases are built ISPM-15 compliant with IPPC heat-treatment stamping, with the certificate supplied in the dispatch documents so the load clears phytosanitary checks at the loading port. We provide a clear breakup of EX-FACTORY rate, transport and GST on every quote so the buyer can compare the two routes and pick.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">Choosing a grade</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Which grade for which load</h2><p>Buyers in Faridabad frequently ask which grade is the right call. A short rulebook:</p><ul><li><strong>Routine domestic crates and pallets (under 500 kg):</strong> commercial or rubberwood-faced packing-grade plywood, 10–16 mm. Best cost-per-crate, designed for one-way packing duty.</li><li><strong>Export crates, premium finish or higher cosmetic spec:</strong> an Okoume face veneer on the packing or BWR substrate. Lighter, cleaner surface, better stencilling — useful for export buyers shipping to the GCC and Vietnam who want a presentable crate at the receiving end.</li><li><strong>Heavy castings, shock loads, repeated handling:</strong> 16–18 mm packing-grade base with hardwood corner reinforcement, or move up to a BWR substrate where moisture exposure is likely.</li><li><strong>Construction, formwork, infra projects on Faridabad sites:</strong> shuttering ply (film-faced) — a different product family from packing ply, designed for concrete contact and multiple pours.</li></ul><p>We do not push buyers up the price ladder unnecessarily. If a 12 mm packing sheet does the job, that is what we quote.</p></div>
<div class="cwp__container"><p class="cwp__eyebrow">FAQ</p><h2 class="cwp__h2">Faridabad supply questions</h2><h3>Can you supply ISPM-15 compliant heat-treated crates for export out of Faridabad?</h3><p>Yes. Heat-treatment and IPPC stamping is standard for any export-bound case we build. The certificate is supplied with the dispatch documents so it clears phytosanitary checks at the loading port.</p><h3>What is the minimum order for sheets to Faridabad?</h3><p>We quote both part-load and full-truck consignments. The per-sheet rate is keenest on full-truck loads (roughly 350–400 sheets of 18 mm depending on packing), but smaller indents are workable when consolidated with other Delhi-NCR-bound material.</p><h3>Do you carry stock or build to order?</h3><p>Standard packing-grade sheets in popular thicknesses are run through our facilities on continuous schedules, so lead time from order confirmation to dispatch from Perumbavoor is typically 3–7 working days. Custom crate builds, sized cases and non-standard veneers take longer — we share an exact dispatch date on the PI.</p></div>
