Every one of these is tied to the same legal entity, the same PAN and the same IEC. A search returns Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited on any of them.
What “merchant exporter” means on our RCMC
The FIEO certificate registers us as a merchant exporter. That word is worth explaining before you meet it on the document, because it is a registration category, not a statement about where the panels come from.
The Cochin Wood group has worked timber at Perumbavoor since 1986 and presses the goods. Cochin Wood Industries Pvt Ltd is the selling and exporting entity inside that group, which is the category FIEO registers it under. Depending on grade and volume your order is pressed at the group’s own unit at Perumbavoor, which makes the bulk of what we sell; some grades and overflow volume come from approved mills in the same cluster.
The producing unit is named on every quotation. You are welcome to visit it, or to send your own inspector.
Certificates and test reports
Each mill holds its own BIS licence, so there is no single CM/L number that covers everything we sell. Any certificate or test report that applies to your order is identified on the quotation by holder, number and product scope, and released to verified buyers on request. No compliance claim applies to your order until those documents are in your hands.
What we send before you commit
Ask the export desk for any of these and they go out the same business day: the amended GST certificate, the RCMC, a proforma invoice on our letterhead, and the bank details on company letterhead so you can confirm the account name matches the invoicing entity.
We do not transact on open account, and we will never ask you to pay into an account in a name other than Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited.
