Where we ship

Plywood export from India runs on a handful of proven lanes, and ours start at Cochin. Containers stuff near the factory and gate in at Vallarpadam ICTT, which keeps inland haulage short and stuffing under our own supervision. Every market below has its own lane page carrying the import essentials for that destination — the HS code, the duty and tax position, the conformity requirement, and what can and cannot honestly be said about the sailing time. Our notes on the Gulf markets are collected under GCC export.

What we export

The range covers the panels a packer, formwork contractor or building-material importer actually orders, not a catalogue of everything with a wood face.

• Commercial plywood (packing grade): one family, a standard rubberwood-core MR panel to IS 303, in 6, 8, 12, 15 and 18 mm as the typical run.
• Interior and furniture plywood: semi-hardwood, alternate, full red core and premium / BWR hardwood, to the quoted construction.
• Film-faced shuttering plywood for formwork.
• Marine plywood to IS 710 BWP.
• Flooring plywood: container flooring with or without groove, and chequered anti-skid.
• Plywood boxes and crates, plywood pallets and cable drums.
• Rubberwood and jackwood runners, supplied only built into the crates and pallets we ship, not as loose sawn timber.

Okoume is a face veneer option, available across our interior plywood range, not a separate family. We also supply calibrated Okoume-face panels on a eucalyptus core, made to the E1 emission class; the 16 mm panel weighs about 32 kg and ships bare or HPL-laminated.

Container loading: check payload and usable space

A loading plan must satisfy the booked container's permitted payload, usable space and sheet layout. Check finished panel density, sheet dimensions, door clearance, packing weight and destination road limits. Plywood can reach either limit; a weight-only calculation can overfill a 20ft box.

We compare container sizes using the quantity that actually fits and the applicable route limits. Loose-loaded and palletised plans differ. Every export quote carries a loading plan with sheets per container and net and gross weight; the loading guide explains the capacity and geometry checks.

ISPM-15: what actually applies to plywood

This is the most common point of confusion in plywood export from India, so here it is plainly. Plywood panels are exempt from ISPM-15. Plywood is a processed wood material, manufactured under heat and adhesive pressure, so the panels themselves need no stamp and no fumigation at any border that follows the standard.

What ISPM-15 does cover is solid-wood packaging — the sawn-timber runners and battens inside boxes, crates and pallets. In the boxes, crates and pallets we make, those components are treated and IPPC-marked by a DPPQS-registered treatment provider where the destination requires it; the treatment method follows the destination's rules, and a treatment certificate is supplied where the quotation states it. Terms, documents and turnaround

Export quotes are in USD, FOB Cochin by default. Payment is 50% advance with the balance before dispatch for standard products, and 100% advance for made-to-order and custom-fabricated goods. We accept bank transfer (T/T).

Each shipment sails with the documents stated on the proforma invoice — commercial invoice and packing list as standard, with a treatment certificate or phytosanitary certificate where the destination, product or contract requires one, and a certificate of origin where the destination requires it. Nothing waits for the vessel to leave.
