Do not transfer a rating from one support or handling condition to another. Agree the pallet drawing, intended use and required test report before ordering. ISO 8611-1:2025 describes test-method groups for new flat pallets; that reference does not certify a pallet or establish its working load.

Do plywood pallets need ISPM-15 treatment?
The plywood parts do not — plywood is an engineered wood and is ISPM-15 exempt. Where the destination enforces ISPM-15, regulated solid-wood blocks or bearers in the pallet must be treated and marked by a DPPQS-registered treatment provider, by the method the destination’s rules require, and a treatment certificate is supplied where the quotation states it. What information is needed to agree a pallet load rating?
Provide the payload, load distribution, support arrangement and handling method. Identify static storage, dynamic handling and rack use separately. The agreed drawing and applicable test evidence must support the load under the intended conditions; one rating is not interchangeable across those uses.
