The terms on which Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited provides this website and responds to enquiries and quotations.

By using cochinwood.in or requesting a quotation, you agree to these terms. They cover the website and our pre-sale information; every confirmed order is governed by the specific proforma invoice (PI) and sales contract we issue for it.

1. About this site & its content

The product descriptions, specifications, standards (e.g. IS 710, IS 303, IICL TB-001, ISPM-15) and guides on this site are provided for general information to help you specify the right product. They are accurate to the best of our knowledge but are not a binding offer.

2. Product information & specifications

Wood is a natural material; grade, finish, colour and dimensions are produced to recognised standards and to the specification confirmed for your order. The binding specification is the one stated on your proforma invoice, not the general descriptions on this site.

3. Quotations & orders

• Quotations are indicative and valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices are confirmed at the time of order and are ex-factory unless stated otherwise; GST and transport are extra as applicable.
• An order is confirmed only when we issue a proforma invoice and receive the agreed advance. Lead times are estimates and run from receipt of the advance and a complete specification.
• Quantities, tolerances and packaging follow the agreed specification and applicable trade norms.

4. Intellectual property

The content, design, logos and text on this site are owned by Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose, and not to submit false or third-party information through our forms.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its general information. Our responsibility for any confirmed order is governed by, and limited to, the terms of that order's proforma invoice and sales contract.

8. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ernakulam, Kerala have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any arbitration or other terms agreed in a specific sales contract.
