Why our pallets
A pallet is only cheap if the cargo arrives.
Built to your drawing
Footprint, deck pattern, chamfer and load class — specified once, repeated every batch.
Export paperwork ready
ISPM-15 stamping and treatment certificates issued at dispatch, so the pallet clears customs, not stalls in it.
Loaded from Cochin Port
FOB Cochin and Vallarpadam ICTT — to the Gulf, Africa and Southeast Asia, the same build every shipment.
Entry type and deck — the two choices that matter
Most pallet specifications come down to how the forks go in and what the deck is made of. Everything else follows from those two.
| Option | What it is | Specify it when |
|---|---|---|
| Two-way entry | Forks enter from two opposite sides | Cheaper and lighter. Fine where handling is predictable and the pallet is always approached the same way. |
| Four-way entry | Forks enter from all four sides | Faster handling in tight container stuffing and busy warehouses. Worth the extra where labour time costs more than the pallet. |
| Plywood deck | Continuous panel top and bottom | Small or bagged items that would fall between boards. Also spreads point loads, so it suits machinery and drums. |
| Sawn-board deck | Spaced timber boards | Lighter and cheaper for large, rigid unit loads that bridge the gaps anyway. |
Sizing to the container, not just to the load
A pallet that fits your rack but not the container costs you floor space on every shipment. The footprint should be chosen against the box you actually ship in.
| Footprint | Called | Where it fits |
|---|---|---|
| 1200 × 1000 mm | Industrial / ISO | The general-purpose export footprint. Fits most lanes without argument. |
| 1200 × 800 mm | Euro | European consignees and their racking. Ask the consignee before assuming. |
| 1165 × 1165 mm | Australian / container-fit | Chosen where the container floor plan drives the decision rather than the racking. |
| Custom | To your drawing | Where the unit load is an awkward size and a standard footprint would waste a lane of container floor. |
What we need to quote accurately
Four inputs and a written quote follows within one business day.
- Footprint — or the unit-load dimensions and we will work it back.
- Payload — static and dynamic if they differ, and whether it is point or spread load.
- Stacking pattern — how many high, in the container and in the warehouse.
- Destination — which decides ISPM-15 treatment and any local requirement.
If you are replacing an existing pallet, send a photograph and the dimensions. Matching a pallet that already works is faster than specifying from scratch.
Questions buyers ask
Plywood pallets, answered.
Do plywood pallets need ISPM-15 treatment?
The plywood parts do not — plywood is an engineered wood and is ISPM-15 exempt. Any solid-wood blocks or bearers in the pallet must be heat-treated and stamped. We supply the treatment and the certificate. Full ISPM-15 explainer →
What sizes and entry types do you make?
Two-way and four-way, in 1200 × 1000, 1165 × 1165 and 1200 × 800 (Euro), or fully custom to your footprint and stacking pattern.
What load classes can you rate to?
Light, medium and heavy, with static and dynamic ratings specified to your payload — we build the deck, blocks and bearers to suit.
What is the minimum order and how do you ship?
One container load (FCL), FOB Cochin Port, with ISPM-15 documentation ready at dispatch.
What sizes and entry types of plywood pallet do you make?
Two-way and four-way, in 1200 x 1000, 1165 x 1165 and 1200 x 800 (Euro), or fully custom to your footprint and stacking pattern.
What load classes can the pallets be rated to?
Light, medium and heavy, with static and dynamic ratings specified to your payload.
Two-way or four-way — which should we order?
Four-way if the pallet is handled repeatedly or stuffed into containers under time pressure; the handling time saved usually outweighs the cost. Two-way where the approach is always the same and the pallet is essentially single-trip.
Can you match a pallet we already use?
Yes. Send a photograph and the dimensions, or the drawing if you have it. Matching an existing pallet is the fastest route to a quote and avoids surprises at the consignee's racking.
How many pallets fit in a container?
It depends on footprint and stack height, and dense loads weigh out before they cube out. Send the footprint and payload and we will work the loading plan back from the container's payload limit rather than its volume.
What holds the load class — the deck or the blocks?
Both, in different ways. The deck carries and spreads the load; the blocks or bearers carry it through to the floor and take the fork impact. We size them together against your static and dynamic rating.
