Pan-India dispatch from Kochi

Domestic supply runs in bulk lots from Kochi to any state. Rates are ex-factory; GST and transport are itemised separately, so you can compare landed cost against a local supplier line by line. Most of our domestic volume goes to packing-case manufacturers, pallet makers and exporters who crate machinery for shipment. These are buyers who order by the truckload and reorder on a schedule, and the operation is set up for exactly that.

If you build packing cases, the thickness and grade logic is worked through in plywood for packing cases.

The export desk

Perumbavoor sits about 40 km from Cochin Port. Export is quoted in USD, FOB Cochin by default, and three lanes are worked steadily. Start at the export hub for documentation and container-loading detail.

GCC. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain take packing and shuttering grades for projects and re-export.

Sri Lanka. Kochi to Colombo is one of the shortest export lanes out of India; two to four days on the water is typical. Building-supply buyers get lane detail on exporting to Sri Lanka.

Israel. Okoume-faced panels into Ashdod and Haifa, quoted FOB. Terms are on exporting to Israel.

Payment on standard products is 50% advance with the balance before dispatch; custom production runs against full advance. TT or irrevocable sight LC.

How the quality holds

Grades are made to Indian Standards: IS 303 covers the MR and BWR packing and commercial grades, and IS 710 covers BWP marine plywood. Panels are measured before loading, thickness and dimensions checked against the order, and every shipment carries our material guarantee: what arrives matches the spec sheet you quoted from.

One detail that saves exporters paperwork: plywood panels themselves are exempt from ISPM-15 treatment and marking, because plywood is processed wood. Are you a plywood manufacturer or a trading company?

A manufacturer. Our group has made plywood in Perumbavoor, Kerala since 1986, roughly forty years of group manufacturing. Cochin Wood Industries supplies its own production: packing, commercial, marine and film-faced shuttering plywood, plus plywood boxes, crates and pallets.

Do you supply plywood outside Kerala?

Yes. We dispatch pan-India from Kochi in bulk lots. Rates are ex-factory; GST and transport are extra and itemised on the quote so you can compare landed cost cleanly.

Is plywood exempt from ISPM-15?

Yes. Plywood panels are processed wood and are exempt from ISPM-15 treatment and marking. Assembled plywood boxes and crates that require marking are built under an ISPM-15 compliant process.
