Material is rubberwood-core, hot-pressed, with a glue line tuned for packing-case service. Tolerance on what the purchase market calls "11+" is a true 12 mm; "17+" is a true 18 mm. We quote ex-factory Kochi; GST and transport are extra and depend on the lane.
Crate construction
For finished crates, the practical kit is plywood skin over a sawn-timber frame (jackwood or seasoned hardwood runners at ₹400/cft, quarter-inch-minus tolerance), screwed and stapled, with corner cleats. ISPM-15 heat-treated timber is used for any crate going to a sea-freight export buyer in the Kalinga belt or out of Paradip and Vizag.
Pallets
Standard four-way entry pallets in 1200 x 800 mm (Euro) and 1200 x 1000 mm (industrial) sizes are the bulk of pallet demand. Heavy-duty stringer pallets with 18 mm plywood top decks are specified for steel-component movement, while lighter two-way pallets ship for IT hardware staging.
Container flooring

For full-truck loads (FTL) of 20 to 25 tonnes, FOR-Bhubaneswar pricing makes sense and we route through partner transporters. For smaller pulls, part-load consolidation through Vijayawada or Hyderabad transit hubs is cheaper but adds 2 to 3 days. Packing vs Okoume vs shuttering ply

- Specify shuttering ply only when the buyer is in construction or infrastructure. It is not a substitute for packing ply in crating: different glue line, different surface, different price point.
